This Busby SEO Test Reports site is really a new fresh built one. In order to compete with the other sites, I must get this blog crawled and indexed by major search engine first. Getting a website indexed by major search engines is the main factors to bring our website visible to the eyes of search engine. The very first time I did after building this blog site is getting it crawled and indexed by search engines. Why should I do this? The reason is before a web site appears in search results, a search engine must index it by a search robot and saved the information in the search engine database. If a web blog has been in search engine index, it can be displayed in search results, otherwise the search engine cannot know anything about it and it cannot display information from the page.

Actually, there are three ways to bring your website getting indexed by search engines in a relatively fast way :

1. Invite the search engine to index your website URL. This can be done by adding your URL to Google,Yahoo and MSN search engines. This way you’re asking the search engine to send their crawler to crawl your website and index everything what it found on your website. Obviously, this will take few weeks to bring a significant result. I did this and I will share the more details in my next post how I did to invite the search engine crawl my blog.

2. Get link from other blog. Find a website or blog with a considerably high PageRank and ask the owner to make a link that pointing to your website. You may be have friends or you are joining in a community or forum then ask them to make a link to your website on their website. Use the complete URL on the link with your website keyword as the anchor text. This is the easiest way to get your website get indexed by search engine. Fortunately, I have already had a blog with a PR=3, so it’s easier for me to do this.

3. Using paid services. If you don’t have friends to make link to your website, you can consider to use paid services to get your website indexed soon by search engine. You can buy text link or pay per click (PPC) services. This mean that in return the services put your link on their website, you are charged for certain amount of money in a monthly payments. This time I think I don’t need to do this.

By getting my blog indexed by search engines, the search engine will visit and crawl my blog frequently and then I will focus my efforts by submitting more contents. The more contents will invite search engines crawler to visit more frequently and love to come to my blog. Ultimately, this will bring my blog in Busby SEO Test challenge to a more competitive position.
